The Vertical

Larchmont

This facade was modernized after many years of fading and aging. Located on Beverly Boulevard, a modernized redesign was essential to be in harmony with the surrounding neighborhood. The old facade lacked personality with no charming elements found like what would typically be in older architecture. Without structurally altering this Multi-Family Residence, character was developed through the use of clean black and white paints in contrast with vertical wooden paneling. This design choice not only adds texture to a completely flat facade, but adds warmth and a more welcoming feeling that is necessary for any residence in the middle of a big city.
