Just a block south of the iconic Hollywood Blvd, you will find The Julie Lee. This historic Los Angeles apartment building was built in 1926 with a gorgeous ornate brick and stone facade reminiscent of Los Angeles architecture from the 1920s. However, each of the 55 units this apartment houses fell short in highlighting the charming elements within each residence. Thus, details such as curved entryways, crown molding, and plaster walls were preserved in the redesign alongside new complementary elements to compliment the original features. Each unit houses all-new kitchens with navy blue shaker cabinets, brass and onyx stained hardware, and floating shelves that contribute to a chic Hollywood aesthetic. With each unit reconfigured to adopt an open floor plan and neutral toned floors installed, natural light casts its rays far and wide illuminating each room and letting go of what was previously dark and dated. The Julie Lee apartments have been carefully updated to feel modern and luxurious while maintaining the original historical charm.
